Worship and Grace
August 19, 2018 Preacher: Jeff Eastwood Series: Life of David
Passage: 2 Samuel 12:1–31
Grace: this word seems often used but frequently misunderstood. Grace is not a license to sin, it does not mean sin goes unpunished, and it does not mean there are no consequences for sin. Simplistically, it means that the one who has committed sin does not personally bear the judgement for having committed that sin, and instead is treated as though they had not committed any sin (Romans 8:1). One of the best examples of God's grace comes to us in the passage we consider this week, 2 Samuel 12. Follow along as Pastor Jeff preaches "Worship and Grace" and examines five things that grace is not, as well as five things that grace is.
