Worship and Consequences
August 26, 2018 Preacher: Jeff Eastwood Series: Life of David
Passage: 2 Samuel 13:1–39
2 Samuel 13 is a very difficult passage of Scripture, mainly because we are given a graphic look at a sexual assault and all that it entails. Sin always has consequences, and this narrative is rife with them. Sin is also never victimless, and one of the most heart wrenching scenes in the Bible is of Tamar fleeing to her brother Absalom's house. Follow along as Pastor Jeff looks at five individuals from this passage in a sermon entitled "Worship and Consequences". Warning: this sermon deals with sensitive issues.
