We are living in uncertain times and thus can feel disconnected, isolated, lonely, unstable, and afraid. Our perspective is limited in two ways: we only see an infinitesimally small percentage of the whole picture, and we see things from our earthbound, "under the sun" perspective. The Preacher invites us to consider things from an eternal perspective which will enable us to get a bigger and clearer picture of reality, even and especially during our current reality of a global pandemic.
