Our greatest motivation for holding fast and drawing near to God is the High Priestly ministry of Jesus Christ. There is a principle in leadership that we understand to teach that we can only lead people as far as we have gone ourselves. Jesus is the perfect example of this as He went further than any other Priest before Him was able to go. He sacrificed His life as an offering to God for the sin of all mankind.
