The passage for this week in Hebrews is perhaps one of the hardest passages in the New Testament. The author of Hebrews gives the most direct warning yet and attempts to call his listeners away from apostasy. We are admonished numerous times throughout the New Testament to check ourselves, examine ourselves, and take a good look in the mirror of Scripture to see if our relationship with God is real or if we are just along for the ride; simply going through the motions.
