Our text this week is a long one, Hebrews 11:4–40. It has become known as the "Hall of Faith" in that it lists many saints of old who, by faith, followed God and trusted in His character and plan. The author/pastor gives plenty of examples of the "great cloud of witnesses" who assure us that finding certainty in God's ways is best, is possible, and results in the best possible outcome. In the swirling morass of uncertainty, God is the stable foundation for our lives in the middle of it all.
