Eternal Gospel
May 4, 2025 Preacher: Luke Playford Series: Revelation
Passage: Revelation 14:6–13
Revelation 14:6–13 presents three angels proclaiming urgent messages to the world. The first calls all people to worship God, the creator, and to fear Him, declaring the eternal gospel amid coming judgment. The second announces the fall of Babylon—a symbol of corruption and spiritual idolatry—warning against aligning with worldly rebellion. The third warns of eternal torment for those who worship the beast and receive its mark, a sobering picture of divine justice. Yet, the passage closes with a promise: those who die in the Lord are blessed, finding rest and reward for their faithful endurance. This passage reminds us that worship of the true God and perseverance in that worship are of eternal consequence.
