On Father's Day, we celebrated fatherhood by examining Ephesians 6:4. In a section dealing with numerous human relationships, Paul instructs fathers to not exasperate their children but to instead instruct and discipline them in a way that reflects the character and heart of God the Father towards us. This is a heavy responsibility, and an impossible task on our own, but with the grace God provides because of Jesus through the Spirit, fathers can point their children to their heavenly Father.
