Psalm 48 celebrates Zion as the city of God—secure, glorious, and filled with His presence—where He is known and praised for His steadfast love and power. While originally referring to Jerusalem, this vision finds its ultimate fulfillment in the Church, the true city of God, where His presence now dwells by the Spirit. As God's people, we are called to walk in His presence, proclaim His glory, and live as a visible testimony of His glory to the nations, as He fills us with endless joy.
