On this Sunday, we were in the first six verses of Revelation 20, looking at the 'Millennium'. The thousand-year period described here has caused much debate in the church throughout the centuries. When does this event happen? Does it happen before Christ returns, after his return, or does this passage describe an unspecified time that we are currently living in? Does it matter? As we continue our journey through Revelation, the question we want to continue putting at the forefront is 'What does this passage tell us about Jesus?' Rather than arguing for a particular millenarian position and separating from those believers who disagree with us, may we be refreshed again by seeing another facet of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
