This Sunday, we began our journey through the book of Job, a journey that will be deep and difficult but eminently rewarding. We like to think that things are generally fair, that "good" people get rewarded by God and "bad" people are judged by him, but we all know that's not quite true, especially not across the board. There are numerous circumstances that rearrange our categories, and there are times we wonder if this is indeed our Father's world. Through all the weighty and hard questions life brings us, we will hopefully end where we begin — God is great, and he is good, all the time.
