Salvation
July 12, 2026 Preacher: Luke Playford Series: From Glory to Glory
Passage: 1 Peter 1:3–12
Have you ever wondered why God allows trials and suffering in the lives of believers? Perhaps you have been tempted to believe that what matters most to God is your own success and comfort? As we come to 1 Peter this Sunday, we are reminded that God's people suffer as strangers in this present world. We will also see that we have a glorious salvation that comes with many blessings and an inheritance that will one day be realized, and when it is, we will rejoice with great joy and praise at the glory that God reveals. In this present age, we walk as strangers with a longing for God's plan of salvation to be realized in its finality. What a glorious day that will be.
