We are notoriously forgetful, especially of things that we should surely remember. The most basic truths are easily lost if we do not constantly and intentionally keep them foremost in our conscious thought and practice. As Paul moves from discussing unity to purity he calls the Ephesian believers to continually renew their minds, remembering Who called them and what He has called them to.
