It is truly amazing to consider that God uses us, frail and sinful as we are, to do anything for Him. What is even more amazing than this reality is that God not only uses us but chooses to honour us. When all glory and honour rightly goes exclusively to Him, we find yet another list in 2 Samuel 23:8-39 of the mighty men of David, men used by God to do great things and achieve miraculous victories in His service, and this list causes us to remember and honour them thousands of years after their exploits.
