In the final verses of Daniel 2 we see a theme of worship emerge. Worship is the responsibility that God has given to His people now, as they await His return. Worship involves submission and surrender to God. It is an acknowledgement that He is who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do. True worship involves seeking first the Kingdom of God and pursuing the amazing treasure that He offers to us through Jesus Christ. Daniel knew and trusted that every single event in his life was orchestrated by God and as a result of that He deeply resolved to worship God alone.
