In Daniel chapter 8 we come to the second vision of Daniel. This second vision is a vision of events concerning God's people that are going to happen some time in the distant future. Too often we are worried by the events of the future as we anxiously desire to know what God is planning on doing in specific detail. More often still God chooses not to reveal all the details to His people. Everything that God's word says about the past is true and everything that God's word says about the future is true. As we turn to this vision in Daniel we are reminded that since God's word is true we can and ought to persist in faith to the end, knowing that God has a plan to redeem all of creation in time!
