He is risen...He is risen indeed! As we continue our walk through 1 Samuel, we come to chapter 25 and discover that Samuel has died and David almost sins greatly in the spirit of Saul. God's providence is on display and we once again realize how much we need Him. Neither Samuel nor David can save us, only Christ can. And what kind of Saviour is this that we celebrate on Easter Sunday? One who "when he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly." (1 Peter 2:23).
