As Christians, we understand that there is no rest for the soul apart from Christ. The rest that is offered to us by God is joyous, satisfying, and productive. To find rest for our souls we need to trust: trust in who God is, and what He has made possible for us through Christ. As we look into this passage in Hebrews 4, we learn that we are called to do the best we can to turn our faith into trust. To rest and trust that God is in control and that He is who He says He is.
