The passage this Sunday is the final section of James, 5:13-20 and the title is "Prayer" as the word "prayer", "pray", or "prayed" appears 7 times in just 8 verses. Prayer is our lifeline, our direct communication with our graciously sovereign heavenly Father, our connection to the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. What an immense blessing to be able to talk to Almighty God in whatever circumstances He has brought us to, baring our hearts and souls to Him as we trust and rest in His heart of love toward us. As our late brother Tim Keller said "The only person who dares wake up a king for a glass of water at 3:00 AM is a child. We have that kind of access."
