Our passage in James this week comes on the heels of James describing what true religion looks like. True religion is taking care of the poor, the needy, and the widows. As we come to the second chapter, we see a direct correlation when James begins to teach about the sin of partiality. True religion is loving your neighbor as yourself and treating all people as equal because they are so in the eyes of God. When you become a child of God, you are welcomed into His family and in God’s family there is no partiality. Please join us as we consider how we treat others that are a part of the family of God.
